Sharon Profile PortraitIn 1995 when I was working on my third book, LONG LONG AGO, on the Oregon Coast, I wandered into a little bead shop and was bitten by the "beading bug".  Since then I have been creating Wearable BEAD ART using the Native American Couching Technique I learned from Jeanie, a lovely lady who had been married to a Siletz Indian man for 23 years.  Since then I have learned and incorporated other techniques: Peyote, Comanche or Navajo (Brick) Stitches, Spiral Rope and Bead Embroidery into my BEAD ART.  In my BEAD ARTIST'S JOURNEY BLOG I share my creations.

Sharing my own "bead artist's" journey, my own bead art and stories about the amazing people I have met and their bead art, too.  I will be sharing inspiration as well as techniques.

Please share my blog with others.
